Making an Amazon Return at CT Comm?

Simplify your return with these easy steps!

Have you heard the great news? CT Comm can take care of all your Amazon return needs right at our office in Urbana, Ohio.

It happens to the best of us―we all buy things that look great on Amazon but ultimately fail to meet our expectations after delivery. Amazon Prime makes it easy for everyone, day or night, to order just about anything…clothing, socks, appliances, that next best seller and yes, even those odd little finger hands.

Now, you no longer have to fret about where and how to return your merchandise: just walk into CT Comm and we’ll take care of it for you!

To make this process easy for both of us, we have a few pointers to help you out BEFORE you make your online return.

Amazon incorporated a new option for returns that works great for those who live close to a corporate UPS Store®: the QR code.

Unfortunately, what most shoppers don’t realize is that the QR code can only be used at an actual UPS Store. CT Comm is not able to accept the QR code, which is why we are educating you on the proper way to return your Amazon items to make this hassle free for both you and our customer service team. Below are detailed instructions for how to process your return and avoid that unnecessary trip to the UPS Store!

If you have a UPS return, do this:

  1. When choosing where to mail your return, Amazon will select UPS Dropoff as the default. You must select the 2 Other Return Options drop down arrow.
  2. Select the second UPS Dropoff If, when selecting this, you are required to pay a fee it is due to the reason you selected for the return. For example, if you selected ‘no longer needed’, Amazon will require a fee for return unless you select the first option. If that happens, you’ll have to select the first option and either:
    1. file a returns complaint and ask for a printable label or
    2. call customer service to have them issue you a printable label

If there was an issue with the order, Amazon will not require a fee to select the second UPS option. Until Amazon resolves this issue, those are the only known ways to avoid paying the fee and get the printable label you need.

  1. Select Print label & instructions.
  2. If you don’t have a printer, you can simply select the ‘forward return label to a friend to print’ option and have your label sent to CT Comm directly at [email protected].
  3. Secure the label on your package and drop it off at CT Comm at 126 Scioto Street, Urbana, Ohio 43078.

If you have a USPS return, do this:

  1. Select Print label & instructions.
  2. If you don’t have a printer, you can simply select the ‘forward return label to a friend to print’ option and have your label sent to CT Comm directly at [email protected].
  3. Secure the label on your package and either leave it in your mailbox or drop it off at the nearest Post Office.

Already submitted your return and received a QR Code? No problem!

If you have already submitted a return using the QR Code, you can log back into your Amazon account and cancel the return using the QR Code. Then, you can go back and request the return with a UPS label. Either print or email the store the label. Tape the label to your box or bring it in and CT Comm will tape it to the box for you.

If it tries to charge you a fee, refer to Step 2 listed above under the UPS return instructions.
